Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

About the SLPA Program:

The role of the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is diverse and rewarding. SLPA’s provide direct therapy and support for client goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.  SLPA’s can work in a variety of settings such as educational, clinical, or in home. They target communication development and disorders, with an emphasis in speech production, language, literacy, and social communication. SLPA’s are an asset in the field of speech-language pathology, and help provide coverage for services in areas with ever growing need.
