The DACC Health Information Technology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).

The Health Information Technology Program accreditor of Danville Area Community College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for Associate Degree in Health Information Technology has been reaffirmed through 2029. Cancer Registry Management Certificate

 

 

DACC's  Cancer Registry Certificate program is fully accredited by the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA®). Please go to the Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) exam web page to learn more about requirements ODS [formerly the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)].

Benefits of an NCRA-Accredited Program

ODS (CTR) Credential – NCRA accreditation ensures students who successfully complete the program have fulfilled the eligibility requirements to take the Oncology Data Specialist exam.

Quality – NCRA accreditation indicates the CRMC program meets the educational standards set by the national association that represents over 5,000 cancer registry professionals.

The DACC Nursing Program is an approved program by the State of IL Board of Nursing. Our curriculum centers around the required academic and clinical experience listed in the IL Nurse Practice Act and the IL Nurse Practice Rules. We are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN.).
