What is IAI?
Danville Area Community College is a participant in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), a statewide agreement that allows transfer of the completed Illinois General Education Core Curriculum between participating institutions.
Are You Ready?
Before you register for your last semester, make sure you check with a DACC Advisor or Counselor to make sure you’ve met all of the certificate or degree requirements. - General Associate Degree Requirements:

- Students must complete 60 degree-oriented credit hours. Developmental education/basic skills courses do not count for degree credit.
- Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Students may not have any outstanding bills on campus.
- General Certificate Requirements:

- Students must have a 2.0 grade point average for the required coursework.
- Students may not have any outstanding bills on campus.
Graduation Requirements
- Student's total program must contain a minimum of 60 credit hours for an A.A., A.S., A.A.S, A.G.S., or A.E.S. degree.
- Cumulative grade point average must not be less than 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Candidates for the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science Degree must present an organized program of study which meets our General Education requirements.
- Associate degree candidates must complete INST 101 Success in College. To maximize the benefits of this course, students should complete it during their first semester at the college.
