Danville Area Community College, in partnership with ed2go, offers online open enrollment programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations.
Our programs are designed by a team of professionals from each respective field, providing you with effective web-based learning programs. Instructors/mentors are actively involved in your online learning experience, responding to any questions or concerns, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.

Leadership Series Resources
Emergency Medical Technician
The EMT-Basic certification is the first of three levels of certification and training available for emergency medical services personnel.
It often is a prerequisite for earning EMT-Intermediate and Paramedic certifications
- January 18 - May 16, 2024
- Thursdays, 5:30pm - 9:30pm
- $800 FLAT fee
Emergency Medical Responder
EMRs have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS resources to arrive.
- Summer 2024 TBD
- $375 - FLAT fee
Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technicians must have a broad knowledge of pharmacy practice, and be skilled in the techniques required to order, stock, package, and prepare medications.
- January 18 - April 18, 2024
- Thursdays, 4pm-6:30pm
- $400 fee due at registration
Phlebotomy
This course is a non-Nursing course aimed at the technical skills and knowledge required for blood collection. Students will develop skills in performing phlebotomy procedures in various health care settings.
- January 16 - April 11, 2024
- Tues & Thurs, 3:30pm-5:30pm
- $475 Not including cost of the textbook
