4035.0  Military Leave

Employees who are members of the National Guard or any organized Reserve of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Air Force which requires periods of training, are permitted to be absent from work for the purpose of receiving military training when ordered by proper authority to active state or Federal service. Such absence are allowed in addition to regular vacation leave and will be taken without pay.

An employee on military leave of absence may continue his/her participation in the group insurance program at his/her expense to the extent provided by such insurance policies except when otherwise provided.
