The accounting fiscal year will be from July 1 through June 30. All accounting records will be maintained on the fiscal year basis to include budget data and year-end closing activities and reports. The amount available for specially funded projects that overlap fiscal years will be listed in full on the budget at the beginning of each project. Any unexpended budget balance remaining in these restricted funds as of the close of the fiscal year, June 30, will then be re-established as the budget for the specially funded account into the ensuing year. This will allow the monthly budget balance reports to continually reflect the actual budget balance remaining of total funds authorized.
