Once a conditioned offer of employment has been made, medical examinations will be required of all new full-time employees, and of part-time employees who receive a Notice of Part -Time Employment. In the examination, the College-authorized physician will determine whether the potential employee is fit and able to perform the responsibilities of the position. The cost of the medical examination shall be paid by the College except when the potential employee is being considered for a grant-funded job. In those cases, the potential employee is expected to pay for the medical examination if the grant does not provide funds for that purpose. The offer of employment is conditional on the results of the examination, subject to the Americans with Disability Act discrimination, prohibition, and reasonable accommodation requirements.
