Student ID Cards

Danville Area Community College (DACC) Now Has Photo ID Cards! After registering for classes, DACC students should obtain their DACC Student ID card for transactions at the college such as bookstore services, registration changes, and library services. The photos are being taken in the Information Office (Vermilion Hall, inside the front doorway). The new cards will have your photograph and student identification number. There is no fee for the first card.

• Your DACC ID Card is currently used for identification purposes and for verification of your current registration status in the Bookstore, Cashier's office and Financial Aid office. Student ID Cards may also be presented at special Student Activity functions for free participation, admissions or discounts, as advertised.
• Your DACC ID Card is also your DACC Library Card. You must have your ID with you to check out physical materials in the Library (Clock Tower).

• There is no charge for the first DACC Student ID Card.
• Students will be charged a replacement fee of $5.00 for any replacement, including lost or stolen cards.
• Please pay at the Cashier's Office and bring the receipt to the information desk in Vermilion Hall.

Bus Stickers

DACC students with school-issued ID cards are qualified for reduced fare through Danville Mass Transit (DMT). DACC students must have stickers for the current semester. Stickers can be obtained from the Registrar's Office in Vermilion Hall. There are no class load requirements.

DACC Students DMT Sticker Requirements

• A student must be registered for classes before they can receive a sticker.
• Bus stickers will be placed directly on the student ID cards, loose stickers will not be given out.
• Stickers will be available 1 week prior to the start of the semester.

Bus Passes

Once a sticker has been obtained, bus passes can be purchased from the Cashier's Office in Vermilion Gall. A 31 day pass is $18 and a 10 day pass is $4.

Students are able to request student ID cards as long as they are compliant with the requirements.

ID Care Requirements

• Student may be registered for courses in order to obtain a student ID card.
• Only your first ID card is free; additional cards will cost $5.00. If you request a new card a receipt from the cashiers office will need to be brought to VH-109 to process your request.
• Students must pick up their own ID card or have it mailed. Student ID cards will not be given to a third party.
