- Do I need to apply to graduate even if I do not want to attend commencement?

Yes! The application is required for every student regardless of if you decide to attend commencement.
- When can I apply to graduate?

After you have registered for all courses you need to fulfil the requirements to graduate.
- When is the application to graduate due?

To walk at Commencement the application is due no later than April 15th. Otherwise we ask that you apply to graduate after you have registered for all courses you need to fulfil the requirements to graduate.
- What happens if I want to walk at Commencement and I apply after April 15th?

If you applied to graduate after the deadline of April 15th and wish to walk in commencement your name will not be listed in the program and you will need prior approval from the registrar's office to walk at graduation.
- Why have I not received my diploma?

- Diplomas are sent the month following final grades being posted (if you complete in May, diplomas will be mailed out in June etc.).
- Diploma or certificates will be held if there is a balance due. If you have a balance due. If you have a balance that you would like to satisfy to receive your diploma please contact the cashiers office located in Vermilion Hall.
- If you completed your application to graduate, your final grades were posted, you do not owe a balance, and you have not received your diploma please contact records@dacc.edu for a graduation status update.
