What Is The Medical Assisting Program
The Medical Assisting program prepares students for a career in the medical field. The program provides the student with entry-level theory and "hands-on" training in basic and routine administrative and clinical tasks. Upon graduation, the graduate will be able to take the national credentialing exams available for a Medical Assistant.

Employment of medical assistants is projected to grow 12 percent from 2024 to 2034, much faster than the average for all occupations.
