The Computer Networking course is offered during the afternoon College Express. This program will provide training and education for individuals interested in developing their knowledge and skills as a local area network administrator. The courses emphasize practice skills required to perform duties in the work environment under the supervision of an experienced local area network administrator.
Students enrolled in Computer Networking could earn college credit during high school and will take the following classes if they complete both years of the program.

The course takes a hands-on approach to learning the steps to installing, troubleshooting and supporting the most common operating systems in use on the personal computer. |
INFO 173 Linux Operating System | Spring 2026 | 3 | This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement, administer, and troubleshoot information systems that incorporate Linux. Students will learn about and use the various tools for installing, administering, and configuring Linux. Students will also learn about and manage a Linux system on a day-to-day basis. this course maps out fully to CompTIA's latest Linux+ certification exams. |
INFO 166 Server Administration | Fall 2024 | 3 | This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage Azure concepts, services, and core solutions and management tools. Azure cost management and service level agreements will be addressed. Students will learn about and manage Azure subscriptions, secure identities, administer the infrastructure, configure virtual networking, connect Azure and on premises sites, manage network traffic, implement storage solutions, create and scale virtual machines, implement web apps and containers, back up and share data, and monitor solutions. |
