DACC will be offering in-person and online classes for the Spring semester.

Register Full-Time BEFORE NOON on Friday, December 23 and take $600 OFF full-time tuition at DACC!

Register Now for DACC Winter Term & Spring Classes

Danville Area Community College has Winter Term Online classes that run December 19, 2022-January 6, 2023. In 3 weeks, you can complete a course from the comforts of home! Choose your Winter Term class: Art Appreciation, U.S. History to 1865, Survey of Statistics, Intro to Astronomy and Non-Western Comparative Government.

Online Learning Orientation is required for all first-time online learners.

Car Show at DACC to Help Student’s Family

Alex Dinger Memorial

The Danville Area Community College Automotive program faculty and students are mourning the loss of a young Auto student over the weekend. Alex Dinger was killed in a car crash Saturday, October 15, on his way home.

In Alex’s memory, his professors and classmates have planned to host a Car Show at DACC, October 29, 2022. At the request of his family, proceeds from the competition will benefit the DACC Auto Program in Alex’s memory. Additionally, the students started a GoFundMe account to help his family with funeral and related expenses.

DACC Mental Health Awareness Summer Series - July 18, 2022

Danville Area Community College’s Community Education will be hosting a Summer Series on Mental Health with Dr. Jonathon Wade B.S., Ph.D, DACC Associate Professor, Behavioral Sciences as the presenter.

The workshops will be held on the DACC campus in Vermilion Hall, Room 306.

Coffee, social time and snacks will be from 8:45-9:30AM with the presentations from 9:30-11:30AM with questions and answers.

DACC Spring 2022 President’s & Honors Lists

Danville Area Community College has released a list of its honor students for the Spring 2022 Semester.
 
A student must carry 12 or more credit hours and a straight A (4.0) average on a 4.0 scale to be included on the President’s List. To be included on the Honors List, a student must carry 12 or more credit hours and have a B+ (3.5) grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Digital Imaging at DACC Receives New Fetal Phantom Ultrasound Machine

The Danville Area Community College Sonography program is thrilled to announce the addition of a Kyoto Fetus Ultrasound Examination Phantom “Space Fan-ST.”  The new Phantom was purchased following a generous donation from Iroquois Federal Foundation, Inc., funding the majority of the fees with the balance being supported by the Pete and Doris Clapp Education Fund.  The fetal phantom will provide the exposure needed to prepare for one of the hardest ultrasound modalities to learn as a student.
