From the north:
Take Illinois Route 1 south. (Route 1 becomes Vermilion Street when it enters Danville.) This will T with Main Street downtown (on the south side of town). Turn left (east) onto Main Street. Over a number of blocks, you will pass Bowman Street, then Griffin Street, then the Veterans Administration Medical Center entrance on the right. The DACC entrance is at the next stop light, on the right.
From the south:
Take Illinois Route 1 north to Interstate 74. Go east on I-74 and take the Bowman Street exit (exit 216). Go north on Bowman Street. At the first stop light, turn right (east) onto Main Street. Over a number of blocks, you will pass Griffin Street, then the Veterans Administration Medical Center entrance on the right. The DACC entrance is at the next stop light, on the right.
From the east:
Take Interstate 74 to the Lynch Road exit (exit 220). Go north to the the four-way stop. Turn left (west) onto Route 136, which becomes Main Street. There will be a railroad underpass. The DACC entrance is at the second stop light, on the left.
From the west:
Take Interstate 74 to the Bowman Street exit (exit 216). Go north on Bowman Street. At the first stop light, turn right (east) onto Main Street. Over a number of blocks, you will pass Griffin Street, then the Veterans Administration Medical Center entrance on the right. The DACC entrance is at the next stop light, on the right.
Parking
For visitor parking, enter the campus at the Main Street entrance, then turn to the right into the parking lot before reaching the stop sign. This lot is in front of Vermilion Hall, the administration building. The information and registration offices are directly inside the main double doors.
Parking stickers are no longer required, except in areas reserved for faculty and staff parking; these areas will be indicated by signs. Stickers are not required to park in student parking lots.
