Health Information Technology Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).

The Health Information Technology Program accreditor of Danville Area Community College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for Associate Degree in Health Information Technology has been reaffirmed through 2022. The DACC Nursing Program is an approved program by the State of IL Board of Nursing. Our curriculum centers around the required academic and clinical experience listed in the IL Nurse Practice Act and the IL Nurse Practice Rules. We are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN.).

Students considering a program of study that leads to professional licensure, endorsement or certification in Nursing should contact the appropriate licensing agency in the state where you plan to be licensed prior to enrollment at Danville Area Community College to ensure the coursework meets that state's requirements.
