Jeff Primmer Jeff has been a Counselor in Academic Advisement and Counseling since August 1994. He is very much a family man, and spends most of his non-working hours with his wife, Michelle, and sons Blake and Ramsey, usually watching the boys play high school baseball and football. He lives in St. Joseph, which is very much a sports oriented town, and he is involved with youth sports in a variety of ways. One of his favorite roles in youth sports is the public address announcer for SJO youth football games. His other interests mostly still revolve around sports. He is a fan of Cardinals baseball, LA Rams football, and the Fighting Illini. As a Counselor, Jeff strives to be as accurate as humanly possible, and to communicate in terms that every student can understand. He often makes use of analogies, as he finds that sometimes they help him to better wrap his mind around a concept that he can then explain to a student. His favorite quote comes from the immortal Ferris Bueller, who said, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while -- you could miss it.” |
