She was the Coordinator of Recruitment, and then moved in to her current role in Academic Advisement and Counseling in December 2015. Her son, Lucas, keeps her on her toes. He enjoys his soccer and swimming teams almost year round. They have one pet at the moment, Wu-Shu the cat. Dawn previously worked at the Humane Society of Greater Savannah before moving back to Illinois, and is proud to say that all of her pets have been rescues from abusive situations. Dawn is a graduate of the Vermilion Advantage Leadership Tomorrow Class 28, May 2016, and continues to volunteer in the community whenever she can, specifically for non-profit and social service agencies. She enjoys spending time with family and close friends, and she has traveled around the U.S. and to eleven other countries, with hope to explore more of the world in the future. Knowing that success means something different to everyone, her hope as an advisor and resource specialist is to accept each student's individuality while helping them to achieve their goals. |
