Amie Musk Academic Advisor B.A., Communication Studies, Electronic Media Production (emphasis Radio Broadcasting), Minor in Business, Eastern Illinois University, 2008 Amie started at DACC as the Information Specialist in July 2008, moved into the position of Records Specialist in August 2009, and became an Academic Advisor in November 2010. Amie is married to Adam, and they have two daughters, Harper and Lennox, as well as 5 furbabies – two corgis, Pancake and Twiggy, and three cats, Willow, Jinx and JuJu. She enjoys dance, and has been dancing since she was 7 years old, and still dances for pleasure and competitively. She takes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She is into photography and takes lots of pictures of her family, animals, and loves sharing them with everyone on Facebook. Her favorite pastime is watching television, especially reality TV. A fun fact about Amie is that she worked at Walt Disney World in character entertainment, and she was really good friends with a lot of characters including Timon, Chip, Dale, Winnie-the-Pooh, Robin Hood, Thumper, and more. Her motto in life is, “Never judge a book by its cover.” |
