Sonographic and physiologic evaluation of the heart and great vessels.
PREREQUISITES:
Acceptance into the Echocardiography program.
NOTES:

COURSE OBJECTIVES / GOALS:
Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
  1. Describe the steps involved in performing various echocardiographic procedures including techniques, protocols, instrumentation and terminology
  2. Identify normal anatomy on images
  3. Distinguish between normal anatomy and pathology on images
  4. Identify physiologic changes demonstrated with various acquisition methods
