July 2, 2007 - Coming off a disappointing 14-25 season, the 2007-2008 Lady Jaguars head
into the Fall season with high hopes for the upcoming season.  The Lady
Jaguars return seven players from last year's team. Returning are
All-conference selections, Kylee Anderson and Chelsea Scott.  Also
returning are pitchers Allison Shouse and Lindsey Nugent.  They are joined
by Jamie Jordan, and Megan Nutter.  These players all lead
the team in various categories and are the foundation of what figures to
be a successful team in 2008.

A very successful recruiting class make up the crop of incoming freshman
for Coach Jimmie Evans' team.  Joining the seven returning players are
pitchers , Alicia Randall (Riverton Parke), and Katie Meagher (Paris).  
The defense should be strong with the additions of Abigail Cox (Westville), 
Ariel Hardcastle(Hoopeston-Area), Erin Hughes (Westville), Mary Lovejoy (Schlarman),
Kayla Nixon (Schlarman), Sarah Pasco (Schlarman), Kelsey Russell (Westville),
and Sarah Snyder (Paris).

Coach Evans and the Lady Jags look forward to the upcoming season and
expect great success from this team.
