How to begin

DACC makes class enrollment Free, Fast and Friendly. Just follow these 4 steps:

  1. Submit a completed application to the Admissions/Registration Office

    You can print out the application form and fill it out. Official transcripts from previously attended colleges/universities should also be forwarded to the DACC Records Office.

  2. Attend a new student orientation

    Call 217.443.8708 to sign up for orientation. This will answer a lot of your questions and get you started on the right foot.

  3. Take the placement test

    Some courses require placement testing prior to enrollment. Call 217.443.8708 to sign up.

  4. Register for Classes!

    Students who plan on pursuing a degree, transferring credits to another school, or want to go full-time should see an Academic Advisor or Counselor. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Call 217.443.8750 to schedule an appointment. Part-time students may register through the Admissions/Registration office via phone, 217.443.8800, or in person. Just walk in.
